Special Instruction

 

Parkway/Highway Lessons

Parkway/Highway instruction is available for all students/drivers by request. Parkway driving is not required for the NYS road test exam, however, we offer this type of instruction to all students (as well as licensed drivers) who wish to expand or improve their skills in this area. For drivers who are incoming as a new student and not previously trained by us, an evaluation of your general driving skills will preclude the higher speed highway instruction. 90 minute lessons are strongly recommended for this service as extra time is needed to compensate for drive time back and forth to the highway area as well as the initial evaluation.

Stick Shift Lessons

Private Stick Shift instruction is available for drivers who are already licensed but want to now learn how to operate a motor vehicle with a manual transmission. 90 minute lessons are strongly recommended for this service. Most drivers find a minimum of 1-3 sessions sufficient enough to begin practicing on their own. This service is not available for non-licensed drivers. Call for more information and scheduling.
